Please plug your Pynged into any wall outlet or powered USB port and turn the unit on via the power switch located on the side of your unit.

Registering your device

1. Go to www.pynged.com and click "register a device";

2. Please either create an account or login and follow the prompts to register your new pinged;

3. A text message will be sent to all contacts verifying a successful registration;

4. You may test the function of your Pynged by disconnecting and reconnecting power once you have received the successful registration notification.

 

Using Pynged

Pynged monitors the power input via any standard micro USB cable and charger. When power is lost a power loss notification is sent to all contacts registered to the device via the modes selected during the registration process. When power is restored, a notification will be sent via the modes selected during the registration process. There is no delay in notification. In addition to monitoring power, your Pynged communicates with a cloud to ensure that the device is connected and functioning properly. If no status update is received by the cloud from the device and the device has not been muted or shutdown, all registered contacts will receive a “communication loss” alert.

Your Pynged can be muted so that no notifications will be sent via your account page at www.pynged.com. A notification that the device has been muted will be sent to all registered contacts. You may unmute the device at any time via the website.

You may shutdown your device for storage by first unplugging it and then turning the power switch on the side of your unit to the “off” position. A shutdown notification will be sent to all registered contacts.
